Spatially Resolved Synchrotron X-ray Tomography and Diffraction of Cryogenic Natron and Fluid Inclusions in a Frozen Na-Cl-CO3 Solution
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains full-field reconstructed synchrotron X-ray computed microtomography (µCT) and spatially resolved X-ray diffraction (XRD) data of a frozen Na-Cl-CO3 solution. The data reveals the microstructure of the ice, the presence of cryogenic natron Na-Cl-CO3, and the entrapment of primary fluid inclusions within the salt crystals. Sample Preparation: An aqueous solution of 1.0 m NaCl and 0.5 m Na2CO3 was loaded into a 1 mm Kapton capillary. The sample was cooled from 268 K to 205 K at a rate of 6 K/min. Data Collection (K11-DIAD, Diamond Light Source): Tomography (43992.tiff): 1005 projections collected over 180 degrees at 20 keV with a 0.1 s exposure (PCO Edge 5.5). The detector was binned 2x, resulting in a pixel resolution of 2.16 µm. Reconstructed using ASTRA-Toolbox/SAVU. Diffraction (k11-43994_processed.nxs): A 10x10 spatially correlated grid scan using a 25 x 25 µm micro-focused beam (20 keV) collected on a Pilatus 2M (15 s exposure). New data (V2): We have ammended this entry to include the training data, labelled data and output model constructed using the Volume Segmantics Package (https://doi.org/10.21105/joss.04691). The training data consists of tif stacks containing the raw and labelled volumes of 256x256x256 pixels (43902_raw.tif, 43902_labeled.tif,43906_raw.tif, 43906_labeled.tif, 43908_raw.tif,43908_labeled.tif, 43910_raw.tif, 43910_labeled.tif, 43992_raw.tif, 43992_labeled.tif.). This data represents sequential tomographies of the same region in the sample at different temperatures. The yaml file containing the model training characteristics for Volume Segmantics (2d_model_train_settings.yaml) This dataset also includes the final trained UNET pytorch model (2024-10-25_U_NET_PLUS_PLUS__model.pytorch). This model was trained using the VolumeSegmantics package. Details published (https://doi.org/10.21105/joss.04691). This data supports the findings in the manuscript "Fluid inclusions in natron - a window into the interior of Enceladus".
