Number of motorcycle licenses in Germany 2013-2023

The number of motorcycle licenses has been increasing consistently since 2013 and stood at about 19.9 million in 2023. The number of motorcycle licenses increased more than in previous years between 2021 and 2022, though. This mirrored a rise in the number of motorcycles registered in the country, which was also reflected in the number of people acquiring a motorcycle license.
