Ecology Lab 2 - Grassland Dataset 2

To obtain data for the Golden Rod plant, a transect was placed for 50 metres in a straight line in a populated area of a certain plant, which happened to be the Golden Rod. Once this was done, we walked along the transect and recorded where each plant was on the transect. Once the distance was recorded, its height, number of leaves, number of flowers, and whether it was in a crowded patch of other plants (0 = open, 1 = some plants nearby, 2 = quite a few plants, 3 = very crowded bunch of plants within 50 cm) was measured. This action was supposed to be achieved for 50 individuals however there was insufficient time due to lack of management and only 10 individuals were sampled.
