Widespread lack of article accessibility policies among ecology and evolution journals

We screened the websites of 541 ecology and evolution journals for guidelines instructing authors to prepare their manuscripts to be accessible to people with disabilities. This data file contains all data used in the analysis for Smith et al. (2025) Nature Ecology & Evolution. Tab 2 of the file includes meta-data. This archive also includes code needed to reproduce Figure 1 of the main article and table versions of Box 1 and Box 2.
