High throughput colorimetric screening data on 6,686 lysates of galactose oxidase single mutants from GOh1052 backbone

Working from the previously reported galactose oxidase mutant (GOh1052) optimized for bulky secondary alcohol substrates, we screened lysates from targeted saturation mutagenesis libraries. 6,686 mutants covering approximately 55% of the residues across the entire galactose oxidase enzyme were screened against the secondary alcohol substrate, 1-phenyl-1-butanol.
