资源简介:
The Global Emissions Inventory Activity (GEIA) is an activity of the
International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) Core Project of the
International Geosphere-Biosphere Program (IGBP). The focus of GEIA
is to make global emissions available on a one degree grid.
The sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) global emissions
datasets are based on the GEIA-specified 1 degree by 1 degree grid and
reflect 1985 emissions. There are two sets of data: Version 1A
consists of annual emissions and Version 1B consists of seasonal
emissions defined at two levels and is available from the Canadian
Global Emissions Interpretation Centre (CGEIC) and not directly from
GEIA: "http://www.ortech.ca/cgeic/"
The annual inventory for SO2 emissions (Version 1A) was compiled by
Spiro et al, (1982) and was selected to provide default emissions data
for the GEIA SO2 inventories. Anthropogenic emissions include
emissions from fossil fuel combustion and smelter operations. The
annual inventory for NOx emissions (Version 1A) was compiled by
Dignon (1992) and was selected to provide the default emissions data
for the GEIA NOx inventories. Anthropogenic emissions includes
emissions from fossil fuel combustion only.
SO2 and NOx GEIA anthropogenic emissions inventories in the United
States and Canada were compiled by the National Acid Precipitation
Assessment Program (NAPAP).
European anthropogenic emissions of SO2 and NOx were compiled by the
Cooperative Program for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Long Range
Transmission of Air Pollutants in Europe (EMEP) and by the UN/ECE
CORINAIR project.
Anthropogenic emissions of SO2 and NOx for Australia were obtained
from the Australian Environment Protection Authority (AEPA).
Anthropogenic emissions of SO2 and NOx for South Africa were obtained
from the South African Department of National Health and Population
Development and the Energy Research Institute of Capetown.
Kato and Akimoto (1992) developed inventories of anthropogenic
emissions of SO2 and NOx for Asian countries east of Afghanistan and
Pakistan. Province and regional estimates are available for China and
India. SO2 inventory emissions for Japan, China, North and South
Korea, and Taiwan were developed at the Institute of Behavioral
Sciences, Tokyo.
