Data for: Climate-induced range shifts will support local plant diversity but not reduce extinction risk

Modern climate change has caused widespread plant range shifts on Earth. This project investigates how these range shifts affect global plant extinction risk and biodiversity redistribution under future climate scenarios. We developed a series of modeling methods to predict the current and future ranges of approximately 68,000 plant species. Using these projected range dynamics, we estimated plant extinction risks and global patterns of change in plant species richness. This dataset includes the input data and materials required to run the scripts available in our GitHub repository.
