HISTORY OF THE FORMATION OF THE BLOGGER MOVEMENT IN UZBEKISTAN ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ACTIVITY OF KHUSHNUD KHUDAYBERDIYEV (2012–2026)

This article analyzes the history of the formation of the blogging movement in Uzbekistan through the example of the activities of well-known blogger and civil servant Khushnud Khudayberdiyev between 2012 and 2026. The aim of the study is to periodize and reveal, through the example of his activities, the process by which blogging transformed from an independent civic initiative into an institutional phenomenon. Based on verified open sources, the author proposes a four-stage periodization: the creation of the blog (2012–2017), the Telegram period (2018–2019), integration into the state media system (2020–2023), and the modern stage (2023–2026). The findings show that this case vividly demonstrates the tendency of blogging in Uzbekistan to shift from a form of civic journalism to an activity recognized and integrated by state institutions. The results are relevant for further research into the history of the Uzbek blogosphere.
