资源简介:
Antiferromagnetic materials are promising candidates to replace ferromagnets in the next generation of spintronic devices. The absence of stray fields, magnetic robustness and ultrafast dynamics of antiferromagnets make them ideal for the design of devices as spin valves, tunnel junctions and magnetic memories. In this proposal we aim to further advance in the understanding of the antiferromagnetism of a bidimensional metal-organic Mott insulator at nanoscale investigating a network consisting of BHO molecules coordinated with Co centers grown on a Au(111) surface. We intent to confirm experimentally the antiferromagnetic coupling of the Co coordination centers that was theoretically determined by DFT calculations. The magnetic properties of these networks will be measured by X-ray absorption (XAS), natural and magnetic linear dichroism (XNLD and XMLD) and magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD).
