Swedish AS soil regional incubations comparisons

Sediments from the reduced zone of acid sulfate soils taken from around Sweden were incubated in the lab until they oxidized. Following oxidation, the microbiological communities that developed were analyzed via 16S rRNA gene sequence amplicons. The geophysical data and the 16S data were then compared with the geophysical and 16S data from a previous of study of naturally oxidized acid sulfate soils from the same fields.
