We investigated circulating plasma EVs miRNA from 12 AML patients versus 12 healthy donors to identify a miRNA signature as a potential biomarker for patients with AML. Overall design: Plasma samples were collected from patients or healthy donors, EVs were isolated by serial high-speed centrifugation, total RNA was extracted and used used to generate cDNA libraries and perform a next-generation sequencing using NextSeq500.
