Raw Data for "A bathymetric and bibliometric analysis of glass sponge (Porifera: Hexactinellida) science"

Metadata of the relevant scientific literature was downloaded from the Scopus (https://www.scopus.com/pages/home) and Web Of Science (WoS; https://www.webofscience.com/wos/woscc/smart-search) repositories in October 2025 for the manuscript as in title. Original query: "hexactinellida OR hexactinellid OR hexactinellids OR (glass AND sponge) OR (glass AND sponges). The two dataset were merged and the resulting output was manually refined, moving all non-sponge related sources in the "Removed Document" csv. "Document List" was used to perform the bibliometric analysis.
