Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability Linked (GSSS) Bonds provides country/economy level aggregation of IFC-approved GSSS bond issuance value, expressed in billions of dollars, as a share of the total fixed issuance within a specific region and as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP). The data is also disaggregated by:
Issuer Type - for example non-financial corporate, sovereign
Bond Type - green, social, sustainability or sustainability-linked
Currency Type - local or foreign, where:
- Local represents bonds issued in emerging market currencies
- Foreign represents bonds issued in developed market currencies
