Er³⁺-doped silica glass lifetimes and spectra

This zip file contains measurement data from Er³⁺-doped silica glass samples. Specifically, two types of mixtures were studied: one with pure erbium and another with an alumino-silicate composition. The dataset includes emission signals recorded with an oscilloscope under excitation from 100 ms and 400 ms laser pulses. These measurements were taken after the samples were sintered with a CO₂ laser and subjected to controlled heat exposure for durations ranging from 0.5 seconds to 128 minutes. Additionally, emission spectra before and after heating, as well as Raman spectra of the samples, are provided. The black-body radiation from a carbon-coated fiber used as a reference is also included. These data correspond to Figures 3 and 4 of the manuscript titled "Enhancing Excited State Lifetimes in Er³⁺-Doped Silica Glass Through Controlled Heat Exposure."
