资源简介:
Change in wet weight (grams) across competition treatments, from all three experiment rounds. See methods section 2.4 for more details. Competition treatments are labeled by the number of sea stars held in a tank, and of what species (‘treatment’). Evasterias is abbreviated with “Eva” and Pisaster is abbreviated with “Pi”. The interspecific treatment for Evasterias was “2 Eva (+2 Pi)” and for Pisaster was “2 Pi (+2 Eva)”. For each experiment (‘experiment’, 1:3), and tank (‘tank’, 1:15), we provide information on the species whose growth was measured (‘species’, either ‘Pisaster’ or ‘Evasterias’), the initial length of their arm from the central disc to the tip of the longest arm (arm_length), the starting weight at the beginning of the experiment (‘start_weight’, grams), the weight at the end of the experiment (‘end_weight’, grams), the calculated change in weight for each individual (‘change_weight’, grams), and the percentage change in weight over the experiment (‘percent_change’).
