Supporting Data for Integrating Process Safety and Process Security Risk Management through a Resilience-Oriented Framework

This dataset supports doctoral research conducted by Muhammad Shah Bin Ab Rahim at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Netherlands. The research investigates the integration of process safety and process security risk management in the chemical process industries through a resilience-oriented approach. It supports the development, refinement, and operationalization of the Resilience-oriented Process Safety and Process Security (RoPSS) framework. The dataset contains supporting materials and processed research outputs from the study, including the survey questionnaire and anonymized survey data, interview consent form, interview protocol and guide, interview codebook, Thematic Analysis Matrices with selected anonymized quotations, expert elicitation data for assessing performance indicators, and case study data from the operationalization of the RoPSS framework in two chemical plants. The doctoral study is supported by the Public Service Department of Malaysia under the Federal Training Prize 2022, reference number JPA(1)830227015745. The study was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of TU Delft on 17 January 2024.
