The dataset provides a sensitivity test (feedstock type) to the simulation of the alkalinity addition experiment that was carried out in the harbour in the Fall 2023. The model couples circulation with inorganic carbon chemistry and includes tracers to simulate the fate of the alkalinity addition (particulate and dissolved phases) and its effects on inorganic carbon parameters and air-sea CO2 fluxes in the Halifax Harbour and the inner Scotian Shelf. Results of the 6-month simulations (October 1, 2023 to April 1, 2024) were used to determine the sensitivity of the hindcast to the type of the feedstock (dissolved versus particulate).
