Value of business credit disbursed in Canada H1 2018-H2 2022, by supplier

Between 2018 and 2022, the highest amount of business loans in Canada was disbursed by domestic banks. In the second half of 2022, a total of 185 billion Canadian dollars was disbursed by finance businesses, of which 112 billion Canadian dollars came from domestic banks. Other banks financed the second largest amount of business loans that period, at around 37 billion Canadian dollars.
