16S V3V4 taxonomic classifiers

This dataset provides trained classifiers for taxonomic assignment of 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequences targeting the V3–V4 region. The resources are designed to support multiple commonly used bioinformatics pipelines and classification approaches, enabling consistent and reproducible microbiome analyses across platforms. The dataset includes: IDTAXA classifier (compatible with the DADA2 workflow in R) Naive Bayes classifier for QIIME 2 Reference files for assignTaxonomy (DADA2-compatible training set) BLAST-based reference database for QIIME 2 USEARCH UDB database for read reorientation and sequence matching All classifiers and reference databases were generated specifically for the V3–V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene to ensure optimal taxonomic resolution and compatibility with 341F & 785R primer set.
