Understanding Digital Environmental Sustainability in Urban Mobility: Gen Z's Intention to Use Electric Ride-Hailing Services in Indonesia
收藏资源简介:
As sustainable urban mobility becomes more essential in Indonesia, electric ride-hailing services may lessen urban transportation's environmental impact. In this context, “digital environmental sustainability” has emerged as an important concept that explains how digital transportation platforms help protect the environment by providing sustainable mobility solutions. Grab and Gojek have expanded their electric car projects in Indonesia, but young consumers' adoption of electric ride-hailing services is still a concern. This study integrates perceived environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices with personal sustainability orientation to examine Generation Z's desire to use electric ride-hailing services in Jabodetabek. The Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework guided this quantitative study, which collected data from 227 valid Gen Z respondents via Google Forms. The suggested model explored how perceived ESG and personal sustainability orientation affect attitude, trust, and value, which affect electric ride-hailing intention. Analysis used partial least squares structural equation modelling. The measuring model met validity and reliability criteria, demonstrating that Gen Z's evaluations of electric ride-hailing services can be explained by these constructs. The study shows that sustainability-related company views and environmental ideals influence consumer attitudes, trust, perceived value, and behavioural intention. These findings suggest that ride-hailing service providers and governments should improve ESG communication, user trust, and electric ride-hailing service value. This study applies the SOR paradigm to Indonesian electric ride-hailing, adding to sustainable urban transport adoption literature.
