ArcticNet ice beacon GPS position and triplet arrays, 2009, Beaufort Sea

This data set was developed to examine sea ice drift and deformation in the southern Beaufort Sea using sea ice beacons deployed in triplets at varying distances from the coastline in September, 2009. Data are organized and analyzed to visualize sea ice drift and differential drift patterns associated with abrupt sea-ice drift trajectory changes due to synoptic weather patterns and coastline constraints.
