LPIS/GSAA of olive groves in the EU

The Soil O-live Project (https://soilolive.eu/), funded by Horizon Europe, collected all available georeferenced agricultural parcels data in EU Member States from national LPIS/GSAA collections to create an improved pan-European dataset that more accurately depicts the distribution of olive orchards in Europe than CORINE products. LPIS/GSAA includes georeferenced parcels, which, when compared to the pixels in the CORINE product, allow for a more exact determination of individual olive orchards as target regions and the extraction of harmonized data. Here, the georeferenced LPIS/GSAA parcels related to olive groves for seven countries are provided in shapefile format (Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain). The data refers to the years 2021, 2022 and 2023.
