Dataset for: Normal stress recovery distinguishes pulse-like and crack-like rupture on bimaterial interfaces

This dataset contains the source data and MATLAB codes used in the manuscript: “Normal stress recovery distinguishes pulse-like and crack-like rupture on bimaterial interfaces”. The repository includes: (1) Source data for all figures (Figures 1–4 and Figures S1–S4), organized by figure number. (2) MATLAB scripts used for post-processing, including calculations of slip, slip velocity, rupture speed, interfacial stress, and near-tip velocity fields. (3) Processed DIC data files for representative pulse-like and crack-like rupture events. The data are organized to allow direct correspondence between each dataset and the figures in the manuscript. All variables, units, and processing steps are documented in the README file.
