Gut microbiota of 10 pairs of Chinese infant twins

Early colonization of intestinal microflora in the human gut is a complex process. It remains unclear when intestinal microflora colonization occurs and how it proceeds. we recruited 10 healthy pairs of twins, including five monozygotic(MZ) and five dizygotic(DZ) twin pairs,who ranged in age from 0 to 6 years old.We performed shotgun metagenomic sequencing on 20 samples and generated averaged data output of 2G per sample.
