Purpose: Not much research has been done on the effects of okadaic acid on the liver, but it has been shown, that it not only reaches the liver, but has an especially long retention time in it. In this study, differentiated HepaRG cells were incubated bith different, non-cytotoxic okadaic acid concentrations for 24h and the total RNA was used for sequencing. Method: Transcriptomic responses were analyzed using RNA sequencing technology Examination with a total of 12 samples, thereof 3 negative control samples and 9 samples in 3 treatment groups in triplicates Comparative gene expression profiling analysis by RNA sequencing regarding the effect of okadaic acid relative to the non-treated cells.
