Data for: Optimising Camera Traps Data Filtration: A Novel Species-Specific Approach to Minimise Pseudoreplicate Noise and Maximise Data Integrity
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the manuscript investigating data loss and interval selection in camera trap studies across multiple species. It includes the full analytical workflow and supporting data used to determine appropriate time intervals for reducing pseudoreplication in species-specific camera trap datasets. Specifically, the dataset includes: The working calculations used to determine sample sizes across several species. A comparison of data loss when a fixed time interval was applied broadly to all species versus when species-specific intervals were applied. Species-specific data loss calculations resulting from the application of different intervals. A literature review of peer-reviewed studies using camera trap data, including which studies applied time intervals, what those intervals were, and the justifications or citations provided for their choices. The cleaned raw data used for analysis, with pseudoreplicates removed prior to processing. All R code used in the analysis.
