This dataset supports the article <i>“From Silos to Markets: How Data Factor Marketization Drives Digital-Physical Technology Integration”</i> .<br>It includes a <b>synthetic firm-level dataset (DFM_DPTI.dta)</b> that mimics the structure of confidential research data, along with supplementary files such as <b>city_treatment_info.xlsx</b> (timing of data trading platform establishment) and <b>ipc_classification.xlsx</b> (digital vs. non-digital patent classification).<br>All Stata do-files required to replicate the empirical results and figures are provided, covering descriptive statistics, baseline regressions, robustness checks, and event-study analyses.<br>The code requires <b>Stata 17</b> and standard user-written packages (e.g., <code>reghdfe</code>, <code>ppmlhdfe</code>, <code>xtabond2</code>).<br>The synthetic data allow full code execution while protecting confidentiality; researchers can obtain original firm and patent data directly from <b>CSMAR</b> and <b>CNIPA</b> under license.
