资源简介:
Comparative investigations in both animal models and humans have consistently demonstrated substantial structural and functional differences between the bladder baseâincluding the urinary bladder trigone (UBT) âand the bladder dome (UBD). To characterize the molecular basis underlying these regional distinctions, we performed genome-wide transcriptomic profiling using high-throughput RNA sequencing of UBD and UBT tissues obtained from female pigs, a species selected for its close physiological, anatomical, and genetic resemblance to humans. The study was conducted using four juvenile female pigs. Following laparotomy, tissue samples were carefully excised from the UBD (collected from the central region of the ventral bladder wall) and from the UBT (defined anatomically as the region bounded by the bilateral ureteral orifices and the internal urethral meatus). Total RNA was isolated from both UBD and UBT specimens, and deep RNA sequencing was subsequently performed to enable a comprehensive comparison of global transcriptomic differences between these distinct anatomical regions of the urinary bladder.
