Researchers conducted two rounds of interview. The 12 participants give responses to the following research questions:<br> Q1: Have you ever paid attention to teachers’ right to discipline students? How do you understand it? Q2: What do you think is the greatest difficulty of exercising this right in practice? Q3: Do you work in a school where there are many disciplinary phenomena for students as a whole? What kind of punishment do teachers usually use? Q4: In your personal work experience, do you prefer appreciative education or disciplinary education? Q5: Can teachers treat students equally when it comes to discipline? Q6: How do you feel after punishing students? Q7: Does the authority of teachers decline? Q8: Has the atmosphere of respecting teachers been strengthened in recent years? Q9: Have you been trained on disciplinary rights? Q10: Do you think legislation can protect teachers’ disciplinary rights? Q11: Are you clear about which disciplinary actions cannot be used? <br> Q1: What is the attitude of the teachers in your school towards learning the disciplinary rules for K-12 education? Does the principal attach importance to this? Q2: Do you think teachers in your school dare to discipline students since the implementation of the law? Q3: Has the principal’s management orientation changed? Q4: Does your school provide teachers with corresponding disciplinary training? Q5: What kind of teacher training is important for the principal? Q6: Over the past year, are there any school disturbances caused by punishing students around you? Q7: If your punishment behaviour causes school-family conflicts, will you apply for teacher relief mechanisms through the legal channels? Q8: Does legislation give you the confidence to discipline students?
