The anti-liver cancer effect of ergosterol in mice

we analyzed the antitumor effect of ergosterol using H22 hepatoma model mice, ergosterol at a dose of 240 mg/kg for 10 days significantly reduced H22 hepatoma growth. At this dosage, the tumor inhibition rate reached 64.4%. At a lower dosage of 80 mg/kg for 10 days, ergosterol still showed a significant tumor inhibition effect of 41.1%.
