资源简介:
This dataset aims to enhance the design of an in-body communication system using ultrasound waves as an information carrier. To this end, we carried out channel impulse response (CIR) characterizations of custom-fabricated gelatin phantoms of rectangular geometries. The used transducers are mm-scale, omnidirectional, ~1MHz ultrasound transducers. The channel impulse responses are represented by least-squares fitting on a finite impulse response (FIR) model with 2000 taps sampled at 5MHz, capable of capturing an impulse response duration of 400us. The phantoms are characterized in two different scenarios: i) surrounded by an anechoic water tank (mimicking in-body communication), and ii) by the open air (mimicking on-body communication). Finally, to improve channel realism, a subset of phantoms have custom-inserted chicken bones. This dataset is also accessible on Github link
