Comparative Analysis of Gut Microbiomes in Bats, Dogs, and Pigs

This BioProject investigates the gut microbiome composition and diversity among bats, dogs, and pigs to better understand host-specific microbial community structures and cross-species similarities. Fecal samples were collected from healthy individuals representing each species. 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing were performed using the Illumina platform. The project aims to identify key bacterial taxa and functional pathways associated with host diet, physiology, and environment. The raw sequencing data will provide a comparative resource for studying host-microbiome coevolution in mammals.
