Environmental Quality Dataset for Descalvado (SP, Brazil): Land Use and Land Cover Classification"

This dataset contains spatial and tabular data used to evaluate the environmental quality of the Bosque do Tamanduá neighborhood in Descalvado (São Paulo, Brazil). Land parcels were classified into seventeen thematic classes based on functional and ecological criteria, following an adaptation of Valaski’s (2013) methodology for urban land-cover analysis. Each class was assigned an Environmental Quality Index (EQI) ranging from 0 to 1, derived from indicators such as vegetation cover, permeability, runoff, and morphodynamic stability. The dataset includes geospatial layers (QGIS format), tabular data with EQI values, and maps used in the analysis. All data are provided under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0)
