Sustainable agricultural systems and strong regional and rural communities in Cape York

Healthy, productive and resilient agricultural landscapes in Cape York are fundamental to the provision of a range of ecosystem services, contribute to sustainable food and grazing production and enable strong rural and regional communities. This project will work together with Landcare, Industry, farmers, graziers, fishing entities, land and sea managers to build skills, knowledge and capacity within the Cape York community to protect the agricultural resource, improve planning and management capacity and increase understanding of natural resources. This will enable the remote and rural communities of Cape York to meet management challenges, thereby improving environmental, cultural and social resilience.
