Development of metal-organic nano-materials for chemiresistive and gas sensors for toxic chemical detection

This thesis involves the study and usage of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as functional elements for the detection and estimation of nanomolar levels of toxic environmental pollutants and biomarkers such as heavy metals and creatinine. The findings from this study enables a groundwork for the targeted detection and accumulation of both heavy metals and creatinine using a singular MOF, including a method for interferent-free testing in real-world applications.
