Exon Level Expression Profiling of Focal Segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS)

Transcriptome comparison of glomeruli from kidneys with FSGS and glomeruli from the unaffected portion of tumor nephrectomies. This study aims to investigate the pathogenesis and the mechanism of FSGS We applied high-throughput transciptomics method and tested the gene expression profile of microdissected glomeruli from FSGS patients. RNA was processed using the Affymetrix® microarray platform (Human Transcriptome Array 2.0, HTA 2.0). Array data was processed by Affymetrix Expression Console software. No techinical replicates were performed.
