Identification of opsins in eleven species of Adelpha and one species of Limenitis

We collected adult head (eye and brain) RNA-Seq data from twenty-four individual butterflies -one female from each species of Adelpha boreas and A. malea; one male and one female from each species of A. cocala, A. cytherea, A. erotia, A. fessonia, A. heraclea, A. leucophthalma, A. phylaca, A. serpa celerio and Limenitis arthemis astyanax, and two females and two males of A. naxia - in order to characterize opsin evolution in Adelpha/Limenitis butterflies.
