资源简介:
This dataset includes the data used in the study that examined the impact of motor skills on functional skills in children and adolescents with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The sample consisted of 24 participants (19 males, 5 females), aged 7 to 16 years, who completed two standardized assessments: the Movement Assessment Battery for Children – Second Edition (MABC-2) to evaluate motor difficulties, and the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory – Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT) to assess functional skills across daily activities, mobility, social/cognitive skills, and responsibility domains. The dataset contains demographic information, MABC-2 component and total scores, and PEDI-CAT scaled scores. Simple linear regression analyses indicated that MABC-2 total scores significantly predicted 30% of the variance in daily activities, 28% in mobility, and 18% in responsibility, while no significant association was found for social/cognitive skills. These data support the study's conclusion that motor difficulties are associated with specific functional domains in children and adolescents with ADHD. The dataset can be used for replication, further investigation of motor–function relationships, and comparative studies in neurodevelopment and pediatric rehabilitation.
