Stellar Models and Asteroseismic Frequencies for M67 Subgiants and Giants Accompanying the paper: "Asteroseismic Study of Subgiants and Giants of the Open Cluster M67 using Kepler/K2: Expanded Sample and Precise Masses" Description This dataset contains stellar evolution models and asteroseismic frequency calculations for subgiants and giants in the open cluster M67. The models were generated using Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics (MESA), while the oscillation frequencies were computed with GYRE. The dataset covers stellar tracks with masses ranging from 1.2600 M☉ to 1.4399 M☉. Data Contents The dataset includes the following parameters: MESA Model Outputs These are the default output columns from MESA: Structural parameters: model_number: Unique identifier for each model. star_age: Stellar age (in years). star_mass: Stellar mass (in solar masses). star_mdot: Mass-loss rate. log_dt: Logarithm of the time step size. he_core_mass: Helium core mass. log_L: Logarithm of stellar luminosity. log_Teff: Logarithm of effective temperature. log_R: Logarithm of stellar radius. log_g: Logarithm of surface gravity. Surface and core composition: log_surf_cell_z: Surface metallicity in log scale. surface_h1: Surface hydrogen abundance. surface_he3: Surface helium-3 abundance. surface_he4: Surface helium-4 abundance. surface_fe56: Surface iron-56 abundance. log_center_T: Logarithm of central temperature. log_center_Rho: Logarithm of central density. center_degeneracy: Degree of electron degeneracy at the center. mass_conv_core: Mass of the convective core. center_h1: Central hydrogen abundance. center_he4: Central helium-4 abundance. Asteroseismic parameters: delta_nu: Large frequency separation. delta_Pg: Period spacing of gravity modes. nu_max: Frequency of maximum power. acoustic_cutoff: Acoustic cutoff frequency. profile_number: Profile identifier. Additional Parameters from MESA The following columns were added to the models based on MESA output files from https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12616441: Absolute magnitudes: abs_mag_g_dr2, abs_mag_bp_dr2, abs_mag_rp_dr2: Gaia DR2 photometric bands. abs_mag_B, abs_mag_V: Johnson photometric bands. Mixing parameters: mixing_length_alpha: Mixing length parameter. f_overshoot: Overshoot parameter. Asteroseismic Frequencies from GYRE The following parameters were obtained from GYRE: l0_np: order of radial modes. l0_freq: Frequencies of radial modes. l0_inertia_norm: Normalized mode inertia. Additional Asteroseismic Corrections The following parameters were calculated as described in the accompanying manuscript: surf_corr_l0: Surface correction applied to radial modes. dnu_wm, eps_wm: Large frequency separation and phase term before any frequency correction is applied. dnu_corr, eps_corr: Large frequency separation and phase term after surface correction. Usage This dataset provides a valuable resource for asteroseismic studies of evolved stars in M67, facilitating direct comparisons between theoretical models and Kepler/K2 observations.
