Chromosomal-level genome assembly of two dominant desert shrub species in Haloxylon (Amaranthaceae)

We conducted whole-genome assembly of the desert dominant shrubs, Haloxylon ammodendron and Haloxylon persicum, utilizing PacBio HiFi long-read sequences and Hi-C technology. These genome assemblies provide valuable resources for studying tolerance adaptation and enhancing the ecological and industrial value of these key desert species.
