Fecal metagenomic sequencing of coronary heart disease model mice

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a common cardiovascular disease that has been identified as associated with intestinal microbiota disturbance. As an important component of the gut microbiome, the enterovirus group may play an important role in the progression of the disease. However, the relationship between enteroviruses and CHD remains unclear. Based on viral metagenomics and UPLC-MS /MS metabolomics analyses, we evaluated changes in the enteroviral group and serum metabolites in a mouse model of CHD characterized by lipid disturbance and myocardial ischemia constructed from a high-fat diet combined with ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery.
