Illumina sequence libraries for cDNA sequencing were prepared from the extracted of RNA using either the KAPA mRNA Capture Kit and KAPA mRNA HyperPrep Kit for P. lamellidens samples. These libraries were prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions. Amplification of the adapter added cDNA was achieved by PCR. The cDNA libraries were sequenced by NextSeq 500 in 75 bp single-ends.
