Population living below the poverty line (2021 PPP, $8.30) (million)

Number of people, in millions, living on less than $8.30 a day at 2021 PPP is calculated by multiplying the poverty rate and the population. As a result of revisions in PPP exchange rates, poverty rates for individual countries cannot be compared with poverty rates reported in earlier editions.
