Oltre il Centenario. Per una storia del Salento del XX secolo

The essay examines the Salentine historiographical production about the First World War, in particular what was realized for the Centenary. The general characteristics of the available bibliography are identified with its limits and potential, and some possible synthetic works are considered in perspective, which take into account the processes developed during the twentieth century, both internationally and in regional and provincial areas. In the Appendix it is possible to consult the bibliography arranged in chronological order and according to a classification by major historiographic categories.
