Klebsiella pneumoniae ST147 OXA-48 and NDM-1 outbreak isolates from healthcare network in Latvia

The data set encloses Klebsiella pneumoniae ST147 blaOXA-48/blaOXA-48 and blaNDM-1 covering the period from 2022-05 to 2024-10, isolated mostly from hospitalised patients, from the healthcare network in Latvia. Most isolates contain also the genes for the virulence factor aerobactin and yersiniabactin, as well as the IncHI1B(pNDM-MAR) replicon (n=305). The closely related isolates comprised the outbreak in the healthcare system, sustained mainly in the main two tertiary care hospitals in Latvia.
