Upon the infection of culture filtrates of Diplodia seriata, a pathogen of Botryosphaeria dieback, the RNA-sequencing and transcriptome analysis of Vitis rupestris suspension cells were performed to mine the candidate microtubules (MTs) associated genes. MTs as one of the important signalling sensors and integrators in plant early defence signalling pathway, this study could provide insights into the molecular mechanisms in grapevine cells response to D. seriata.
