This project used symbolic regression to derive a constitutive Cam-Clay soil model for drained soils. Using the model future research will be able to predict the behavior of undrained soil. This project tested the use of symbolic regression which can be adapted to predict outcomes for other natural hazards in the future. Scientists, researchers, and engineers may find this useful.
