The human CHM1hTERT genome was sequenced with Pacific Biosciences (PacBio) and Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT), generating 56x PacBio HiFi data and 100x ONT data. The PacBio HiFi data were assembled with hifiasm, and centromeric contigs were scaffolded with ultra-long (>100 kbp) ONT data using a SUNK-based assembly method, resulting in complete sequence assemblies of each centromere.
