This data set contains the vector boundary coverage of Natural Heritage Areas (NHA) on a county basis derived from 1:10,560 series OSI maps. Linework captured from Ordnance Survey of Ireland 1:10560 County Series mapping. Boundaries are derived from surveys starting in 1993 and are ongoing based on appeal. The data is available as discrete user defined datasets. The principle partitioning is based on county or townland boundaries.
