<P>Perry S. Rader was born November 24, 1859, in Carthage, Missouri. He was the son of the Reverend A.M. and Isabella Rader. Rader attended Central Methodist College (Fayette, Missouri), and later studied law under Judge J.P. Strother in Marshall, Missouri. He served one year as vice principal of the Brunswick (Missouri) School District. Rader became editor and part-owner of the <I>Howard County Advertiser</I> before returning to law. In 1889, he was accepted into the bar and moved to Brunswick. He acquired interest in and became editor of the <I>Weekly Brunswicker</I>. Rader married Bennie Younger in 1889. As an amateur historian, Rader published a number of books and articles on Missouri history.</P> <P>The collection consists of correspondence and manuscripts written by Rader.</P> <P>1 folder</P> <P>Cite as: Perry S.
